Directions from Destin to Twin Oaks / Niceville fields
From west Destin area (Distance from the Destin Bridge / west Destin is about 20 miles – 30 minutes drive time.
Hwy. 98 West across Okaloosa Island (6miles)
Go over Brooks Bridge into Fort Walton Beach and turn right at the next light onto Perry. Follow Perry about 1 mile until it merges with Eglin Parkway / Hwy. 85.
Follow Hwy 85 through Fort Walton Beach and Shalimar until you approach Eglin Air Force Base (6 miles). Bear right on Hwy. 85 toward Niceville.
(DO NOT GO STRAIGHT INTO EGLIN AIR FORCE BASE)
Continue on Hwy. 85 past Okaloosa Regional Airport for 5 miles. At the flashing light before the town of Valparaiso, turn left onto College Blvd. extension (there is no street sign, but follow the sign for Okaloosa Walton Community College and the hospital sign).
Note: College Blvd. extension is new and not on the Area Map.
Go 2 ½ miles on College Blvd. to the stoplight at Hwy. 85N (Tom Thumb store on corner).
Turn left onto Hwy. 85N and then an immediate right into the Twin Oaks Sports Complex – the soccer fields are on the right (east) side of the complex.
From east Destin area ( Distance from the Morgan Sports Center / east Destin is about 20 miles – 30 minutes drive time & $2.50 toll each way (or $1.50 w/ SunPass).
Hwy. 98 east to Mid-Bay Bridge Road (Hwy 293 / Danny Wuerfel Way).
North onto Hwy 293 to Hwy 20 (6 ½ miles).
Turn left onto Hwy. 20 and go west 4 ½ miles through Niceville to Palm Blvd. (Vanguard Bank on left corner, Niceville Premier Autos on right corner).
Turn right onto Palm Blvd. and take it 1 ¼ miles until it dead ends at College Blvd.
Turn left onto College Blvd. and go 1 ¼ miles to Hwy. 85.
Turn right onto Hwy. 85N and then an immediate right into the Twin Oaks Sports Complex – the soccer fields are on the right (east) side of the complex.
Alternate parking in on the right before Hwy. 85 at the south end of the complex.
