The 98-99 boys finished their season as finalists at the Atlanta Peach Classic. Down 3-0 in the first game, the boys fought hard & came on strong beating TSC 99 Elite for the first time in their fourth face off 6-5 in a well played game. They tied CFC East 99 Gold in the second game of the tournament, but defeated them 5-1 in the semifinal game on Sunday morning. Harpeth FC 99 Hurricanes Black out of Nashville defeated TUFC in the championship game.  This was the team's greatest success in this tournament and was a great ending to a great season!

The TUFC U11 Boys outscored their opponents 18-3 in their undefeated run to the championship at the Florida State Invitational. They defeated the Dallas Texans 3-0 in the championship game after having lost to the same team last season in a tournament championship in PKs. Way to go TUFC 98-99 Boys!

“The U11 lead by Frank Amidon beat Navarre 3-1, beat Capital City Streaks (AL) 4-0 finishing 1^st in their bracket and then lost one of the most exciting games of the tournament in PK’s 4-3 versus Dallas Texans Florida. In the lead up to PK’s, both teams had opportunities but a twenty yard shot off the cross bar in overtime for TUFC would have carried the game. It was a tough way to finish a game and this will be a match up for the future. The boys played their hearts out.” – Coach Warner

If you haven't yet paid for the summer practices, please do so.  The cost is $10 per player payable to TUFC.  Be sure to write 98-99 boys field rental on your check.

Fall practices begin August 17th, 2009:  Mondays & Thursdays 5:30-7:00 PM on field #5E - Turf Field.  Team technical trainings will begin on 8/20 during the 5:30 - 7:00 practice time.

Specialized Training (formerly Stiker/Goalkeeper) will begin on Wednesday August 26th.  It will run through October 14th with October 21st reserved as a make-up day if necessary.

The U10 Boys had a fabulous tournament under the direction of Coach Bob Payne & Coach Andy Surratt.  They defeated TOF, VLSC Red, MYSA and TOF again in the finals giving up only 2 goals during the tournament.  Way to go U10 Boys!
