Tallahassee United Futbol Club will hold tryouts for the fall 2008 and spring 2009 seasons starting the week of June 2^nd 2008.

TUFC would like to thank all our members and sponsors for making the 2007-08 Annual Banquet the most successful in the history of the Club.  The sold out banquet and sponsors combined to help TUFC raise $12,000 for scholarships for the 2008-09 Season.

 

Special thanks goes to our Director of Coaching Andy Warner for bringing Thomas Rongen, U.S. Under-20 Men’s National Team Coach, to Tallahassee to speak at the banquet and participate in a coaches clinic.  Also, the banquet would not have been possible without the tireless efforts of William Modrow, Garland Sandel, Jane Dobbs and several others.  For your efforts our Club thanks you! 

U16W Men Win Rose City Soccer Challenge April 19-20, 2008

 

April 19th / 20th The U13 boys won the Peachtree Laser cup. The team went undefeated throughout the tournament. The team beat Gwinett Tornados 4-2, Peachtree Lasers 4-1, and in the final group game they beat Roswell Santos. In the final the team turned around the close game from earlier and cruised to an early 3-0 lead in the final. After taking their foot of the gas in the second half, the team went onto a comfortable 3-1 victory to become the 2008 Peachtree Laser Cup Champions.

U16 girls won the Gator Showcase tournament in Gainesville, FL (2/16-2/18).  The girls tied Knoxville Futbol Club 0-0 in their first match. They defeated Jensen Beach 3-0 in their second game. They tied South Dade 1-1 in the third match. They advanced to the final and defeated Creeks Clash out of Jacksonville, FL 2-1.
